Richard Poenisch joined Evergreen Industrial Services in July of 2010. Richard brings over 20 years of industrial cleaning experience to Evergreen that encompasses hydroblast, ultra-high pressure, high volume hydroblast, vacuum dredging, chemical cleaning, and liquid solid separation projects.. Richard has worked with customers in the Gulf Coast and Canada in various capacities. His past roles include Maintenance and Repair, Primary Site Quality Control Officer, Regulatory Compliance Officer, Site Safety Officer, and Project Manager. Richard has also helped train operators and technicians in the use, maintenance and repair of robotic systems. His vast experience encompasses the following market segments: refining, petrochemical, chemical, and power industries.

Richard's primary responsibilities are building a set of robotic cannons for Evergreen and also overseeing the repair, maintenance and tracking of our tank cleaning equipment. In addition, he can fill in as project manager on tank cleaning jobs.

In the past three years, he worked on projects at Flint Hills Resources Corpus Christi, Citgo Corpus Christi, Citgo Lake Charles, Sterling Texas City, and PRSI Pasadena. Richard lives in San Antonio, Texas with his wife, Rose. He also has two grandkids.

In his spare time, Richard likes to work on things that interest and challenge him. Currently, he is working on engineering problems associated with the 1928 Lockheed 8 Sirius that he is trying to build. While working on this long-term project, he is also working on building a small sailboat for day sailing with friends and family.

• OSHA certified hazardous waste site supervisor
• Forklift license
• 100ton hydraulic crane license
• 110ton lattice boom crane license
• Certified welder in MIG, TIG, and SMAW in 6G position
• NIASE certified general automotive and general diesel mechanic
