Evergreen Receives Award at ExxonMobil Baytown Safety Banquet

The management of ExxonMobil's Baytown Refinery invited Evergreen Industrial Services to attend their Annual Safety Contractor Awards Banquet on May 7, 2009. Over 100 different contractor companies that work at the ExxonMobil Baytown Refinery were also in attendance at the banquet held at Nuevo Leon Social Events in Baytown, Texas.

Evergreen was one of several companies recognized for their excellent safety performance at the complex. Account Manager Abel Bella and VP HSE Bill Shaw attended the awards banquet as representatives for Evergreen. The awards were presented to companies who met or exceeded ExxonMobil's 2008 safety goals. Evergreen had a crew working at the complex on a weekly basis performing hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, and vacuum services during the year 2008.

Bill Shaw, VP HSE for Evergreen, commented on the award, “ExxonMobil is pretty tough on safety. You don't stay working there unless you are safe. It is an honor to receive this award for a perfect safety record at their plant site.”
