Turnaround at Conoco Phillips

Evergreen Industrial Services completed a Turnaround for Conoco Phillips in Mont Belvieu on April 9, 2008. They worked with Starcon and Gulf Coast Fractionators. Evergreen was one of the contractors who worked safely throughout the Turnaround and the crews were eligible for safety prizes. Evergreen had a total of about 20 people working, some on nights, and some on days. Evergreen Industrial Services did hydroblasting and flex lancing services during the project.

Slow Start / Fast Finish

The turnaround season was in full swing. Customers were calling. Jobs were scheduled. Work was overlapping and everyone was working long hours. Its turnaround time. Once again, everyone at Evergreen was called to step up to the plate, reach deep into their inner strength and respond to our customer’s needs. And once again everyone at Evergreen pulled through. This is what we do.

The work performed at ConocoPhillips was no different. Our company ranks were stretched as thin as we can go covering 4 turnarounds at different customer locations all at the same time. At Conoco Phillips, many of our employees were called upon to perform multiple tasks during their daily shift assignments.

- Managing hydroblasting crews and running vacuum trucks.
- Communicating with customers on completed work and work in progress.
- Managing the safety for the personnel on their crews as well as others in the area.
- Providing additional Air Machine services that was not in the original scope of work.
- Refueling not only our equipment by providing fuel to other subcontractors who needed our assistance.

These are the things that impress our customers. These are the things that expand our opportunities. These are the things that make Evergreen the “Best of the Best” in industrial cleaning.
