HAZWOPER 40 Training is a Huge Success.

Thank you to the 41 employees who took time out of their schedules to be HAZWOPER 40 trained in the month of January. To have that many trained in such a short time truly showcases Evergreen Employee and Management commitment to Safety, Health, and the Environment.

"It was truly a successful and fun class. So much was learned and retained that I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it." says Jason Lucas, Safety Coordinator. "It is just one step in the changes occurring to improve our safety culture from the top to the bottom of the employee ranks."

Arthur “Cat” Brandon from Work Safe Communications gave the course. It was geared towards Crew leaders and above. The class was held over two weekends on January 5-6 as well as January 13-14, 2008. We provided the course to improve hazard recognition as well as response.
