February 2006 - Nova Honors Evergreen

NOVA Names Evergreen 2005 Supplier of the Year

(WEBSTER, TEXAS) - NOVA Chemicals designated Evergreen Industrial Services and Corporate Building Services as 2005 suppliers of the year at an awards banquet yesterday evening. With Site Manager Pete Graham looking on, Purchasing Coordinator Tracy Wilkins discussed the accomplishments that led to Evergreen receiving the annual honor.

"Evergreen brought innovative processes and methods of doing business that saved NOVA time and money in 2005". Reliability Manager Jay Hughes added "Knowing the unique hazards of your business, the fact that you delivered exceptional service without any safety incidents is a really noteworthy accomplishment. We were proud to nominate Evergreen for the 2005 NPRA Safety Award." Vice-President Rick Pitman noted NOVA's role in creating a 'plant community' where high standards of safety and service are expected. "This award is a result of the teamwork and shared business ideals of Evergreen and NOVA. We appreciate working with customers where safety comes first at every level of the organization."

Senior Account Executive Dwayne Green concurred. "It is an honor to receive such an award but it would not have been possible without an open minded client willing to work as a team to receive ideas and focus on the true value of a partnership built on honest, open and ethical values that bring long-term benefits to both parties." Not willing to rest on their laurels, Pitman added "We will continue to work hard to keep your confidence in Evergreen as your industrial services provider."
