Evergreen Has Debut on YouTube

In conjunction with being nominated for the Houston Business Roundtable Safety Excellence Awards, Bill Shaw, VP of HSE for Evergreen is being interviewed for determination of "Best of the Best" award in our category. That interview is posted on the HBR website via YouTube.

Evergreen was nominated for Safety Awards by Valero Houston, Pasadena Refining, BP in Texas City, Sterling Chemical in Texas City, and Exxon/Mobil Baytown Olefins Plant. From 2006 to 2008, Evergreen has been an awards recipient from Houston Business Roundtable for their safety performance. According to Bill Shaw, "Being nominated for this award is a big deal and making it to top three finalists is even a bigger deal."

For the past twenty-one years the Houston Business Roundtable has been recognizing Greater Houston Area Industrial Contractors for their outstanding safety performance. The HBR Safety Excellence Award process is a six month long effort and involves, literally, hundreds of volunteers and participants. This award process was developed and is maintained by the HBR Safety, Health & Environmental Resource Committee that meets monthly. HBR believes that the Greater Houston Area Contractors involved in this award process have developed world class safety programs and have produced significantly better safety records than any other group of contractors in the world.
