Bill joined Evergreen in January of 2009 as the Vice President of Health Safety & Environmental. Bill holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from Madison University and received the Certified Safety and Health Official designation from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension and the OSHA Training Institute.

Bill serves as an OSHA special government employee and has conducted numerous VPP audits for OSHA. Bill was previously employed by Valero Houston Refinery for nine years, where he served as Senior Safety Specialist and held management positions with Goose Creek School district as Maintenance and Environmental Safety Manager. In 2010, Bill was elected to the Houston Area Safety Council Board of Directors.

Doug McGee joined Evergreen in August of 2011 as the Corporate Safety Trainer. Doug holds a Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Houston and has been certified as Safety Training Specialist, NCCER Hydroblasting Instructor/Performance Evaluator, HAZWOPER Instructor and MSHA Instructor. Doug was a member of the Sam Houston State University football coaching staff 1979-81. Doug has been a member of the Water Jetting Technology Association for over 20 years.

Doug was previously employed by Aquilex HydroChem Industrial Services for 28 years. He has experience in just about every facet of industrial services, including management, sales, manufacturing, safety and training. Doug started in the business as an entry level hydroblast technician and has held numerous positions including branch manager, service supervisor, sales, operations, safety co-coordinator, training manager and hydroblasting service specialist. More than 15 years of Doug's career has been spent in training.

Rick Flanagan joined Evergreen in November of 2009. Rick has worked in all the disciplines of the industrial cleaning business and joined the Safety team in July 2010. He has worked on projects for tank cleaning, hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, and numerous turnarounds. Duties include site safety inspection/audits with an emphasis on ensuring staff are provided with training and the tools needed to complete tasks in a safe, productive manner. Other duties included serving as team leader of Evergreen’s confined space rescue team, providing new hire training and employee competency reviews. As of April 2012, Rick became the EHS/Quality Assurance Manager for the Tank Cleaning Division, providing support to our field management team and overseeing the safety program. Prior to this position, Rick served as the Regional Safety Coordinator for Southeast Texas.

Rick is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist, OSHA Certified Technician in both General Industry and Construction Industry and holds certifications in Confined Space Rescue, Hazwoper and First Aid /CPR.  He also has site specific training for many companies, including ExxonMobil, Marathon, Pasadena Refining Systems, CITGO, and ConocoPhillips.

Prior to coming to Evergreen, Rick worked in healthcare, starting in 1994 as a Director of Environmental Services and was active in safety programs as well as holding the position of Director of Safety for a hospital in Los Angeles.

Kevin joined the Evergreen team in 2011 as Safety Coordinator for the Texas City branch after completing his Associates of Applied Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety at San Jacinto College. In June, 2012, Kevin accepted the position of Safety Compliance Manager.

After graduating from high school, Kevin began working in the petrochemical industry for a few years before deciding to join the United States Marine Corps in December of 2000. He spent five years on active duty attached to VMA-223, an AV8B Harrier Unit, where he quickly rose through the ranks. Kevin held numerous certifications and also attended multiple military courses, including Naval Explosives Hazard Control, Shipboard Aircraft Fire Fighting, Corporals Leadership course and Aviation Hydraulics and Structures courses. Kevin received several awards while on active duty for his service during Iraqi Freedom.

After returning from active duty, Kevin ran the maintenance department for a National Oilwell Varco (NOV) site for three years as Maintenance Supervisor. After leaving this position, he returned to school to complete his degree in safety and began his career in industrial cleaning.

Nick Jones  Safety Coordinator

Nick Jones comes to Evergreen with over ten years of Safety experience and eight years in the industry.

His primary responsibilities for Evergreen encompass conducting field audits, quarterly inspections on equipment, ensuring employees comply with site-specific and company safety policies and procedures. He also conducts safety meetings, maintains training files and keeps employees updated on current safety issues.

Nick served in the Navy for four years after graduating from high school. In addition to his military training, Nick is trained in CPR/First Aid, Industrial Rescue, Emergency Response, and Incident Command. He finished at the top of the class in NCCER's standardized training curriculum. He has served on Contractor Safety Committees at PPG Lake Charles and Citgo Lake Charles.

Rocky Flores joined Evergreen Industrial Services in November 2012.  He joins the company with over 5 years of safety experience in the Oil & Gas Industry as a Safety Instructor and Safety Compliance Officer.

Rocky has received multiple training certifications and accreditations including an Advanced Safety Certificate and a Defensive Driving Instructor from the National Safety Council. He is also an American Red Cross Certified First Aid/CPR Instructor and a Certified Forklift Instructor. Rocky holds certifications and accreditations in Confined Space, OSHA Haz-Mat Technician, OSHA 501, 511 & 30, Principles of Occupational Safety & Health, Waste Water Overflow Reporting, Hazmat Awareness and Operations Training, TEEX Work Zone Traffic Control & Flagger, and many more. Rocky is also a proud member of the Texas State Guard.

Carlos Joined Evergreen in February 2012 as a dispatcher for our La Porte branch. In August of 2012 he accepted the position as the Texas City Branch Safety Coordinator.  He holds certifications from The OSHA Education Center at Texas A&M Engineering and Extension Services (TEEX), The University of Texas at Arlington and has recently become a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS).

Carlos entered industrial cleaning in 2003 after serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps at Headquarters 6th Marine Regiment at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He has experience in Management, Logistics, Hydro-Blasting, Vacuum Services, Sewer Cleaning, DOT, Supervision and Safety. His father has been his inspiration in becoming a safety professional, with over 25 years of experience in Safety. Carlos is currently attending San Jacinto College studying for a degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
