In February 2012, David Johnson joined Evergreen and serves as Chief Operating Officer. David began his industrial services career over 30 years ago as a chemist for a small, regional service company based in Odessa, Texas, which later became Enclean.

During his 18-year tenure at Enclean, David served in various executive capacities until the company was acquired by Rust Industrial Services (Veolia) in 1994, and there served as Executive-Vice President from 1995 to 1996. Since leaving Rust, David has served as President of Catalyst Technology, Inc., President US Operations, Corrpro Companies Inc., and most recently, Regional Director-Americas for Moody International Inc., a global technical inspection company.

Paul joined Evergreen in February 2013 and serves as Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to Evergreen, Paul was with another industrial services company called The Brock Group.  During his six years with Brock, Paul played an integral role in the company's growth to over a billion dollars in revenue.  He was responsible for executing the company's acquisition strategy and supported the Executive team and shareholders with numerous financial and strategic initiatives.  Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and was responsible for Brock's operations across Latin America and the Caribbean and led the company's expansion into Colombia.

Prior to joining Brock, Paul spent the first ten years of his career in investment banking executing mergers and acquisitions across a variety of industries, including industrial services.  He earned his M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.  Paul lives in Houston with his wife and three young children.

Bill Shaw, VP of Health Safety and Environmental

Bill joined Evergreen in January of 2009 as Vice President of Health Safety & Environmental. Bill holds a Bachelors degree in Management from Madison University and received the Certified Safety and Health Official designation from Texas A&M Engineering Extension and the OSHA Training Institute. Bill serves as an OSHA special government employee and has conducted numerous VPP audits for OSHA. Bill was previously employed by Valero Houston Refinery for nine years, where he served as Senior Safety Specialist and held management positions with Goose Creek School district as Maintenance and Environmental Safety Manager. In 2010, Bill was elected to the Houston Area Safety Council Board of Directors.

In 2010, Chris Daniels joined the Evergreen team. He brings 22 years of experience in all facets of business, from P&L management, strategic and tactical planning, and mergers and acquisitions related to industrial services in the refining, petrochemical, power, pulp and paper, and ethanol market segments. Chris's background is a unique balance of business development and operational business management and leadership providing focus, balance, knowledge-driven culture and team work. Chris's immediate attention will be directed toward the continued development of Evergreen's chemical cleaning product line, as well as assisting in strategic business development.

Chris holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M and is a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers.

Walt Treybig joined evergreen in July 2011 in the Business Development Group.  After the sale of Sterling Chemicals to Eastman, Walt spend the past 32 years in the Chemical Industry.  Walt was the Sr. Vice President of Manufacturing for Sterling Chemicals in Texas City.  Walt earned a Bachelor's from Texas A&M and an MBA from Tulane University. He is also a Certified Safety Professional.

Walt serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way Galveston County Mainland and served as its President from 2006-2009.  He is also a member of the board of Directors for the Boy Scouts Bay Area Council and will serve as the President starting in 2012.  Walt continues to serve on several other Board of Directors, such as Galveston Country Health District, and its Treasury/Secretary, the Texas City School District's Foundation for the Future and Texas City Crime Stoppers. 

Wendy Merchant, Controller

Wendy Merchant joined Evergreen in March, 2012, as Controller. Wendy spent the past 15 years in various accounting roles in the chemical manufacturing industry. Most recently, she worked for Sterling Chemicals/Eastman where her role included preparing financial reporting, SEC filings and cost accounting.

Wendy is a graduate of the University of Houston-Victoria and is a Certified Public Accountant.
