April 3, 2013- Evergreen Supports Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo

Since 2004, Evergreen Industrial Services has participated in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Junior Auction.  Evergreen was part of a group of buyers of the Grand Champion Hog, or more correctly known as the “2013 Grand Champion Junior Market Barrow”. 

A World Record was set this year with a bid of $200,000.  All proceeds benefit the Houston Live Stock Show & Rodeo Education program, to help students from all over Texas move on to Higher Education.  HLS&R is one of the many deserving organizations that Evergreen is proud to support in the community.

March 13, 2013 -  Evergreen Industrial Services is pleased to announce Paul van Walleghem as Chief Financial Officer.

Paul comes to us from The Brock Group, a large industrial services company based in Houston with over 17,000 employees and a focus on scaffolding, insulation, and coatings for refineries and chemical plants.

During his six years with Brock, Paul played an integral role in the Company’s growth to over a billion dollars in revenue. He was responsible for executing the Company’s acquisition strategy and supported the executive team and shareholders with numerous financial and strategic initiatives. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and was responsible for Brock’s operations in Latin America and the Caribbean, which included operating units in Venezuela, Colombia, and Aruba representing over $50 million in revenue and over 400 employees.

Prior to joining Brock, Paul worked in investment banking focused on executing mergers and acquisitions transactions across a variety of industries, including cross-border transactions. He earned his M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Paul lives in Houston with his wife and three young children.

Register now for "Evergreen's 7th Annual Ride to the Lone Star Rally" that will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012.

This is an organized motorcycle ride that is police escorted. The Ride to the Rally check in will be from 8:00 to 9:00 am at the Evergreen Deer Park facility at 704 Old Underwood, La Porte, Texas 77571. Festivities in Galveston begin at 12:00 noon at the corner of 19th Street & Avenue D.  There is a private party area for adults 21+ one block from Strand entrance for registered guests with wristbands.

This fun event had over 500 motorcycle riders participate in 2011.  In 2012, invited guests can look forward to:

• Breakfast
• Secured parking for motorcycles
• Poker Run with prizes
• Door Prizes
• Music
• Food
• Beverages
• Motorcycle riders who sign up by the October 20th deadline will be given a T-shirt.

In support of Project Joy & Hope, we would appreciate a $25 donation per motorcycle. Project Joy & Hope is a 501C-3 organization whose mission is to help families with medically fragile children.

Online registration is open October 3-27, 2012.  Registration has been extended to 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 31st.
