Transportation Safety Coordinator and Safety Instructor

Don became a part of the Evergreen family in June 2007 as Safety Coordinator for the Transportation department. His role has recently expanded to be the Evergreen in-house Safety Trainer. Don is certified by the National Safety Council to teach "Defensive Driving Course for Professional Truck Drivers". Don is an OSHA certified instructor for "40 Hour Hazwoper" and "8 Hour Refresher" training. Don is also the organizer of Evergreen's Annual Truck Rodeo.

Prior to joining Evergreen, Don was a Safety Supervisor at Lane Freight in Houston, Texas for over a year. Don was also an instructor at Houston Community College for over 4 Years. His experience in the transportation industry as an owner operator and company driver amounts to over 30 years.

Don and his wife, Wanda, have been married for 36 years, and have 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 2 foster children. Don served as Senior Pastor at New Foundation Ministries in Houston, Texas for ten years. His hobbies include fishing, hunting and travel.
